Hello everyone!

Just a brief post wishing everyone a merry Christmas from us here at the Cookie Jar.
Hope you all enjoy playing those games you've been waiting to unwrap during the festive period, and you get the ones you wanted.

For those of you whose friends or family didn't get you the game you wanted, I hope you enjoy 'My Horse and Me.'

Children Refusing to Stop Playing Video Games? Call the Police!

News for any parents out there who can't get their kids to stop playing video games.

A woman in the US called 911 when her 14-year old son refused to stop playing video games. Kudos to the kid for being a hardcore gamer, but shame on the mother.

Word of advice love, just turn the TV off.

Child's Play: Proof that not all Gamers are Anti-Social Douchebags

Gamers get a bad reputation for being anti-social and nerdish. Whilst the latter is usually true, The Cookie Jar has decided to draw attention to a fantastic aspect of video game culture.

Child's Play is a charity for children which invites gamers to events with the intent of putting all the money raised through attendance towards helping kids.

So for anyone out there who think that gamers only ever think of themselves?

Suck it.

Hopefully sometime next year The Cookie Jar will be able to host an event in aid of the charity's cause. If anyone out there has any ideas, they are very welcome.

So check out Child's Play at their official website at
